Things to consider for an ultra successful visit:
- Some type of grand arrival
- Secure any pets, if necessary
- Provide chairs or a bench for Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Freshly charged batteries in the camera(s) and phones
- Pick a desirable setting and background for photos
- Discuss in advance any plans for book reading or story telling
- Reserved parking near the entrance for Santa's land sleigh
- Clearly label all gifts and discuss Santa's bag requirements ahead of time
- When large numbers of children are involved, assign an honorary elf to help Santa with names, etc.
- Distribute gifts just prior to departure
- Eliminate surprises - make special requests prior to arrival
- Pay Mrs. Claus or Santa upon arrival
